Just like there are several different ways to build a house among contractors,
there are several different ways and techniques among Chiropractors.
Our Method
The Gonstead technique is a specific, hands-on, full-spine method
based on the concept that changes in one area of the spine, whether
functional or organic, can and do produce biomechanical and neurophysical
changes in other areas of the spine. This is why it is necessary to examine the
whole spine and not just the area that hurts. To do so, we employ the use of
visualization, static and motion palpation, and instrumentation. We have the
men with their shirts off and the women gowned. We do not try to guess or
assume with anyoneâ?(TM)s health that we â?oemight? be on the correct segment of
the spine by feeling through any layer of clothing. More...
Your peace of mind
In addition to what we do not do, we do not have high fees. We do
our best to keep the cost to our patients as cost-effective as possible. That
is why if you call any other office in the area, you will find our fees to land
on the least expensive end. Plus, we are covered by many insurance
companies. We also do not employ any type of therapies such as physical
therapy or massage in our office. These are excellent sources of rehabilitation,
and if your condition calls for it we will and have referred those cases for such
care. However, these forms of care are geared more for just that: rehabilitation. But they are not treatments for most of the types of cases we see in our office.
This is another way we have found to keep the cost to you as affordable as
possible.
