Athens Chiropractic Healthcare is a general family practice that combines spinal
manipulation with muscular therapy and rehabilitation. We work closely with the patient to
assure continued growth towards a healthy lifestyle.
We specialize in back pain/disc herniations, sports-related injuries, back and neck pain due to
auto and work accidents, postural disorders, physical rehabilitation, back pain due to
pregnancy and preventative care.
Patient care generally consists of chiropractic manipulative adjustments, therapeutic
modalities, specific rehabilitative exercise programs, manual muscular therapies, and
prescriptive home exercise programs. Patients may also receive counseling pertaining to
nutrition and the use of dietary supplements or over the counter medications.
Dr. Groft has had extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of general
muscular-skeletal injuries of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee and ankle.
