Libertyville Vision Center

Thank You for choosing our office for your eye care needs. Our offices are designed for your comfort. The professional staff works as a team in a personal caring manner to make your visits pleasant. We are proud of our ability to provide quality, affordable eye care for our "family of patients."

The late Dr. Stephen Rosen was the founder of the Libertyville Vision Center in 1972 and the Buffalo Grove Eye Care Center in 1977. Dr. Marvin Heimlich joined Dr. Rosen in 1982. Thanks to the efforts of our dedicated staff and with the addition of Dr. Rhonda Peters in 1988 (retired in 2005), Dr. Jonathan Ottino in 2003 (left the area in 2009), Dr. Jeri Prybell in 2005, Dr. Katherine Charo in 2007, and most recently Dr. Blake Dowell in 2009, we have grown to the family optometric practice we are today.

Libertyville Vision Center continues to be one of the largest private optometric group practices in Lake County and the oldest in Libertyville. Buffalo Grove Eye Care Center is the oldest optometric practice in the Buffalo Grove area. Both offices have worked toward the same goals:

1. To offer the best professional eye care services in a caring, professional atmosphere.
2. To give our patients the best value in eye wear and contact lenses.
3. To earn our patients' confidence and trust.

We will do whatever it takes to ensure patient satisfaction with all our services and materials. We take pride in being able to serve all the members of our family of patients and to give "the professional attention your eyes deserve."
