The technology is called low level laser therapy or cold laser therapy. Dr. Reyes is one of a few centers using the cold laser in clinical trials. Recently the FDA approved the low level laser for use on patients with carpal tunnel syndrome. This has been proven to reduce symptoms, thereby decreasing the need for surgery.
