I have had the pleasure of treating many patients over the last 27 years in practice and found that our patients have a great improvement in their overall health and the enjoyment of their life. I have found that over the years while treating many thousands of patients that our patients have enjoyed a better quality of life. I was talking to a doctor the other day who had asked me if I noticed that if many of our patients had had the trouble of major health problems and as I looked it over I realized they that they had not. I am not just talking about headaches, neck pain and back pain but major health problems like heart disease, cancer, diabetes and other major life threatening diseases like that, which really ruin the quality of their life and their families life. I could only think of less than a handful of patients that developed heart disease, cancer or diabetes. So I realized that these family, friends and patients of ours had better overall health, and I was reminded of Dr. B J Palmer, who started Chiropractic in 1895, that is his goal and vision was to improve the health of people so they would not need dangerous medication and surgery to handle their conditions and as I looked it over how was that working for the population? I realized - not that well. Actually adverse or negative reactions to prescription drugs and medication have moved into the third leading cause of death in out country, WOW! The first two causes of death in our country are heart disease and cancer.
So there is a way to handle your body, a technology to handling your body so it does not break down and become sick and diseased. And that is what I have spent my adult life figuring out and improving that technology so the quality of your life is better.
I was also reminded of some friends, close friends that I did not educate well enough for them to take action on improving their health and it was their health that failed them. A good fiend of mine, which I respected a great deal and is very successful in his business and a good family man suffered from a stroke. I feel had he taken action earlier, could have been prevented. And instead of wheeling around in a wheelchair and having a difficult time talking with his grand children he could have been playing with them and talking easily with them. And to see him suffer and his family suffer, almost needlessly, because I could not get him to take action is very disappointing to me and I have committed myself to educating everyone I come in contact with to help them see that there is a way to prevent these dangerous health problems.
