"When I developed severe allergies in the mid-1970's, it was my overwhelming positive experience with chiropractic care - after conventional medicine had failed - that inspired me to pass on the benefits of chiropractic to others."

Chiropractic Treatment-
Chiropractic therapy involves the manipulation of the spine and other joints in the body to relieve pain and restore normal nerve function and balance. It often incorporates other aspects of natural health care, such as diet, exercise, and lifestyle.
Dr. Clunie's chiropractic adjustments range from gentle activator and weight-bearing wedges to fairly forceful manipulations. Some form of massage or muscle-release work is always used prior to adjustments.
X -Rays are seldom needed. Different approaches work for different people.
The Wholistic Approach-
Wholistic health care simply means looking at the whole person as a physical, emotional, mental and spiritual being within the person's whole environment. It means always keeping in mind the question, "What is the best next health step for this person?" Is it an adjustment, a change in diet, marriage counseling, exercise, a better job, or even surgery?
Conditions That Respond to Chiropractic Care-
Most people go to the chiropractor because they are experiencing neck or back pain. However, because chiropractic addresses "DIS-EASE" - meaning the lack of ease - it can be helpful or even essential in the treatment of a wide variety of illnesses, including:
Insomnia
Edema
Chronic colds
Allergies
High blood pressure
Arthritis
Emotional Stress
Indigestion
Dysmenorrhea
Dizziness
Headaches
Carpal Tunnel
Rashes
Exhaustion
How Long Will it Take-
Often a problem can be corrected in one or two visits. However, the longer you have had a problem, the longer it will probably take to correct it. You usually cannot "fix" a hip that has been locked-up for 20 years in just 1 or 2 visits. It simply depends on what is going on. Also the more you take care of your own health, the quicker you will respond to chiropractic care. The goal is always to get you well as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Patient Recommendations-
"I have never had chiropractic care as effective as the care I received from Dr. Tom Clunie. I am impressed not only by my speed of recovery following his treatment, but by his persistence in not letting me leave the table until he was sure he had gotten to the root of my problem. Often, this meant a single treatment was sufficient to heal a serious injury or imbalance."

"I have known Tom Clunie for over 20 years as my trusted chiropractor. He is a caring, compassionate, and skilled doctor. I have been a certified massage therapist since 1985. Over the years, I have referred many of my clients to Tom, with full confidence that they would receive excellent care. He will be missed. Talent is lucky to have him!"
~ Kathi Lee, C.M.T.
"Dr Clunie was my chiropractor for 8 years. When I was experiencing low back pain, Dr. Clunie had my back (and my life) back in order after three sessions. His intuitive and sensitive hands always know exactly where to touch. Tom is a "real" healer. There are many in the healthcare field, but rarely do they have that special quality that makes a great healer.
